Based in Las Vegas, Nevada, Bechtel SAIC Company, LLC, is built on the collective strengths of two internationally recognized organizations - Bechtel National, Inc., and Science Applications International Corporation (SAIC). The organizations have joined forces to create BSC, which is now the prime contractor implementing solutions for the Yucca Mountain Project.

YOUR OPPORTUNITY
Implement, manage, and maintain the Lessons Learned (LL) Program for the Yucca Mountain Project. Solicit program engagement from YMP Organizations including interface with LL Coordinators thoughout the organization. Schedule and conduct the weekly LL Screening Meetings and the quarterly LL Coordinator meetings. Update and maintain the LL database. Update and maintain the LL/GI procedure and desktop instruction. Complete an annual assessment to determine effectiveness of overall LL/GI program. Conduct LL benchmarking and implement identified enhancements. Interface with the Department of Energy Lessons Learned and Nuclear Regulatory Commission Operating Experience programs. Maintain compliance with DOE Order 210.2 Corporate Operating Experience program. Maintain metrics and report on the use of the YMP LL program. Provide support to the YMP Corrective Action Program (CAP) in the form of cause analysis reviews and conduct the daily Condition Screen Team meeting as needed. Management responsibility for 1 individual directly supporting the LL program and 25-35 LL Coordinators. Provide Subject Matter Expert support to Training. Provide support to the Six Sigma Program.
REQUIREMENTS
Bachelors Degree and minimum 10 years experience in Organizational Assurance Programs such as Lessons Learned, Corrective Action, Quality Assurance, or Assessment. Knowledge of Department of Energy (DOE) Lessons Learned database and program function as well as the DOE Operating Experience program. Experience in a DOE operating contractor program with a basic understanding of nuclear facility operations. Exceptional verbal communications, written, and computer skills with an ability to communicate across organizational lines and to Senior Management within Bechtel/SAIC and the Office of Civilian and Radioactive Waste Management.
