Lean Manufacturing Engineer - Leader/Expert

We are seeking Professionals who can…
be our Lean Manufacturing GURU.Provide muilti-site, systemic analysis, leadership, and direction to individuals and teams in executing/adjusting business initiatives using the Lean Six Sigma strategy for process improvement Deliver breakthrough levels of improvement in process capability, manufacturability of product designs and business processes in reducing errors and attaining world class levels of quality.Provide on-site leadership, consulting, and mentoring to Operations Improvement Teams at all company sites Serve as an expert resource for the assessment, modeling, and selection of future manufacturing strategies/methodologies aimed at improving operational efficiency/performance Provide direction and leadership on engineering projects in various plants to facilitate and execute large/strategic Lean improvement projects. Participates in technology strategy development, capacity planning, capital planning, cost reduction, and efficiency improvement Identify and implement key operational metrics, estimate financial impact of projects and cost/benefit analysis to determine timing of benefit realization Apply problem solving skills with creativity and innovation
REQUIREMENTS
Qualified Applicants Will Have:Bachelor or Master Degree from an accredited school in industrial engineering, mechanical engineering, chemical engineering, materials engineering, PhD. not required.5+ years experience working with 6-Sigma and Lean Manufacturing methodologies.Black Belt or Lean Master CeritficationAt least 2 years leading large scale initiatives. Expert level knowledge of lean manufacturing and/or Six Sigma methodologies, and the ability to apply these to create competitive advantage within our operationsStrong Leadership skills with the ability to lead cross-functional teams and encourage cultural change

Preferred Applicants Will Also Have:Ability to apply Project Management SkillsAbility to handle multiple projects with cross functional members (leadership, initiative, respected technically) Strong verbal, listening, and written communication skills, with the ability to present technical information to both technical and non-technical personnel Ability to understand and utilize cost accounting systems/tools to perform detailed economic analysis. Fundamental knowledge of manufacturing and possibly experimental equipmentAbility to recognize the appropriate time and application of statistcal methodologies to manufacturing processes for high-volume/high-precision, manufacturing
