Provides high quality technology solutions that address business needs by developing applications within leading edge technology environments. Utilizes both leading edge technology programming languages and legacy applications and environments. Adheres to coding standards, procedures and techniques and contributes to the products of the technical project team. Additionally, participates in project planning sessions to analyze business requirements, design and code reviews, incorporate security requirements into design, and provide input to information/data flow. Complies to Project Life Cycle Methodology and adheres to IT Control Policies. Incorporates Corporate Architectural Standards into application design specifications. Identifies applicable system platform, components, and dependencies. Documents application specifications. Provides uniform integration into legacy systems. Performs Unit, System and Integration Testing. Creates/Tests prototypes, and completes assigned project deliverables within business/audit control requirements. Identifies and troubleshoots application code-related issues (provides 3rd level production support/issue resolutions). Reviews and provides feedback to the final user documentation.
REQUIREMENTS
Strong Business Process Management analysis and development skills - Pega Systems PRPC preferred
Pega Systems PegaWorks experience a plus
Minimum 3 years of Java, Web Development, or Web Services programming and design experience
Application Server deployment and administration knowledge a plus - Apache Tomcat/IBM WebSphere preferred
Strong design, development, coding, testing and debugging skills
Knowledge of version and revision control practices and procedures
Development using RDBMS required - Oracle preferred
Experience with UNIX operating environment - shell programming preferred
Knowledge prototyping and rapid development techniques
Excellent oral and written communication skills
Primary Days/hours: Monday-Friday/8:30am-5:30pm
