Lead Vessel Engineer

Lead Vessel Engineer within a Project Work Force. Will be required to supervise and mentor other engineers and designers within the Mechanical Department. Will coordinate all Vessel Task Force responsibilities, scheduling, manpower, quality and safety. Must be able to manage man-hour budgets, meet schedule deadlines and quality requirements of the project. Will be required to design pressure vessels, check the work of other engineers, guide vessel designers, complete technical bid evaluations, issue requisitions, review vendor data and resolve problems in a timely and professional manner. Occasional travel will be expected.


Requirements:

Responsible for independently applying advanced engineering techniques and analysis within the discipline. Strong organizational skills and leadership skills are required. Must be able to work in a team environment and able to effectively communicate with other project team members, vendors and clients. Must be very familiar with the ASME Boiler and Pressure Codes and proficient in applying the Code requirements to the design of Division I and Division II pressure vessels. A minimum of 10 years experience is required for this position. This is a senior level engineering position with a level of responsibility and visibility.
