The Lead Quality Engineer is a resource to plant, hourly and cell management teams focused on quality improvement and customer satisfaction.

You will apply established quality tools to address projects and problems in a methodical and presentable manner; provide training and facilitation in quality tools and methodology, and actively participate on new product introduction teams and projects.

You will also monitor the quality objectives in all areas of the plant and provides constructive feedback and coaching to other quality engineers.

Quality System Execution – participates with the establishing and maintaining of the company and plant quality management system including, but not limited to:
process documentation,
ISO compliance documentation,
corrective actions,
data collection,
internal auditing,
statistical methods,
product and process evaluations,
supplier quality, and
preventative actions.
Participates on Cell Management teams and is responsible for focusing the team on quality issues and objectives when appropriate.
Participates on Project teams and is responsible for quality function assignments.
Facilitates quality tool applications such as FMEA and formal problem solving.
REQUIREMENTS
Degreed engineer
Has done quality in a lean manufacturing environment
Data-based Problem Solver
Trained in Quality Problem Solving: Six Sigma or Juran
Works well in teams as we are very team oriented
Good management skills
