Lead Mechanical Engineer

Volt Technical Resources is looking for talented and resourceful individuals to work for a leading consulting firm supporting the oil and gas industry. Volt offers a long term contract with benefits such as: Medical, holiday pay, OT and a competitive salary.DUTIES OF POSITION:Lead Mechanical Engineer within the Mechanical Dept and a project task force. Will be required to review/approve client specifications, technical bid evaluations, coordinate review of vendor drawings/data, and supervise other mechanical engineers, designers, and modelers assigned to the project. Extensive knowledge of ASME Code, API standards, ANSI and other industry codes and standards is necessary. Will have extensive client and vendor interface, so communication skills must be excellent. Requirements:

Bachelor of Science in Mechanical EngineeringResponsible for independently applying advanced engineering techniques and analysis within the discipline, and apply managerial skills. Strong leadership and organizational skills are required. Will be expected to provide technical direction to other mechanical engineers, designers, and modelers on a project task force.Must have a minimum of 12-15+ years experience specifically related to different types of mechanical equipment, and administrative skills.
