We are looking for Critical Systems Engineer’s to work critical data center environment’s across the country. CSE will assist with walk-throughs of customer facilities in support of data center and office operations. They will assist with admin/tech work. CSE will be required to perform routine and emergency service on state of the art critical systems (e.g., switchgear, diesel generators, fire alarm/suppression systems, PDU's, UPS, and HVAC systems) and will interface directly with customer representatives and data center clients. CSE’s will also help ensure strict adherence to MOPs (Method’s of Procedures) and company policy and procedure; aide in scheduling and managing vendors and subcontractors. Responsible for end-user customer satisfaction. Will ensure the proper maintenance of the equipment and enforce all approved procedures in the event of a system failure. In addition, individual will be responsible for the control and inventory of all assets within the data center and will insure that equipment was received and correctly recorded. Will also interface with the customer's Manager of Hosting Operations in the assignment of customer space and oversee the installation and removal of any customer equipment as well as review and approve any changes in the power/space requirements of customer Basic Qualifications: Bachelor's degree (undergraduate)in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering or equivalent combination of education and experience CSM should have 3-5 years of relevant experience (experience with power, electrical and mechanical equipment including generators, critical and essential PDU's, UPS, switchgear, chillers, computer grade cooling systems, DC Power Systems). Strong background in the field of work and knowledge of related disciplines, and strong organizational skills are also essential. This position requires the ability to prioritize and handle multiple projects and strong oral and written communication skills. Candidates must be available to work emergency service and shift work as required. Employees must posses a valid driver's license and transportation that is capable of carrying light hand tools. Employee's driver's license must be valid in all states that we support. Certain sites may require employees to obtain security clearances. The shift for the position will alternate depending on scheduling changes.
