Lead Engineer/Technologist

They are accountable to ensure that the product meets performance criteria, weight, and fit and function specifications. Executes the design, analysis, or evaluation of assigned projects using sound engineering principles and adhering to business standards, practices, procedures, and product/program requirements.
Provides technical leadership to personnel supporting the assigned project.
Documents technical data generated by the assigned project consistent with engineering policies and procedures.
Provides timely communications on significant issues or developments.
Participate on teams assigned to address organizational initiatives and generic issues.
Participate as a presenter or reviewer in technical and program reviews.
REQUIREMENTS
Qualifications: * Bachelors of Science in Engineering.
At least 3 years of experience in an Engineering position.Desired: * BS Degree in Electrical, Mechanical or Aerospace Engineering.
Minimum of 5 years experience in design, development and qualification of aircraft engine electrical components and systems.
Green Belt Certified.
Proficient in MS Office and MS Project.
3+ years experience technical writing and presentation.
3+ years leadership and project management skills.General: The project engineer will lead the Integrated Product Development Team (IPDT) and be responsible for the successful development of the assigned products. During Tier 1 proposal phase, work with Engineering and Marketing to identify viable sub-tier strategies that meet program technical and commercial requirements. During Design and Validation phase lead sub-tier supplier through the Unison Design Process, work with other Engineering groups and Technical Support groups to ensure proper integration of sub-tier designs into the Unison owned system / sub-system. Work closely with Customers throughout the program development to ensure the resultant system / sub-system meets their expectations from a technical, cost and schedule perspective.The listing of (GEINFAV: Unison Industries) employment opportunities here is for administrative convenience only.
