Lead Electrical Engineer

Purpose: Aerotek Engineering has an immediate opening for a Lead Electrical Engineer. Our client is an A/E firm that focuses on design solutions for a wide variety of manufacturing and industrial companies. Their work entails modifications and expansions to upgrades as well as building new facilities.

Duties:
* Responsible for recruiting, selecting, orienting, training, assigning, scheduling, coaching, counseling, and disciplining employees; communicating job expectations; planning, monitoring, appraising, and reviewing job contributions; planning and reviewing compensation actions; enforcing policies and procedures.

* Contributes electrical engineering information and recommendations to staff personnel; preparing and completing engineering proposals; implementing production, productivity, quality, and customer-service standards; resolving problems; completing audits; identifying trends; determining administrative system improvements; implementing change.

* Meets electrical engineering financial objectives by forecasting electrical engineering requirements; preparing weekly manpower reports; analyzing variances; initiating corrective actions. Preparing and updating cost estimates and budgets.

* Completes electrical projects by resolving design issues.

* Plans electrical projects by determining specifications; establishing installation schedules; integrating requirements with architectural and mechanical designs; verifying code requirements.

The qualified candidate will have:
* BSEE
* PE Required
* 13+ years experience in Heavy Industrial
* Solid controls background (Siemens & Allen Bradley)
