As the Lead Conference Services Technician you will provide direct technical oversight to Conference Service technicians in support of the Audio Visual and meeting support function at the Collegeville and Great Valley headquarters sites. You will apply technical expertise and experience to instruct technical staff and oversee the operation, maintenance and repair of all Audio Visual equipment and related software. You will apply working knowledge of PC operation, Audio, Video and Web conferencing tools to instruct Conference Service technicians in providing proper support for all types of meetings. You will oversee and maintain the information repository for IP Video conference system topology, audio visual control systems and digital signage network infrastructure. You will maintain inventory control and coordinate repair and maintenance activities for all audio visual equipment. You will also oversee the operation of the Global Videoconference network equipment, updating software, monitoring endpoint performance and trouble shooting network transmission when necessary.
This position requires a High School Diploma and a minimum of 5 years experience in the Audio Visual Communications or Videoconferencing industry. A Bachelor of Arts in Communication or a BS in Telecom Engineering is preferred. ICIA-CTS certificate is also required. Must be proficient in the operation, maintenance and repair of Audio Visual equipment and have good working knowledge of Audio, Video and Web conferencing technologies. Must also have a good understanding of networking, video over IP and PC hardware settings. A working knowledge of Windows 2000/XP operating systems, control panel settings and basic configuring commands is necessary. Must be proficient at configuring Videoconferencing equipment and knowledgeable about associated software.
