Entropic’s initial products allow the existing cable in your home to be transformed into a broadband multimedia network that will support high quality video, including HDTV, high-speed data, Internet, voice, and multi-room gaming. The core technology, which enables communications backwards through cable splitters, is called c.LINK (CableLink), and has been embraced by Cable & Satellite Operators, Set-top Box OEMs, Consumer Electronics OEMs, and PC manufacturers worldwide.

Job Description and Responsibilities

The Candidate will be responsible for the floor-planning, block layout and verification (DRC/LVS/Extraction) of RF and Mixed Signal Analog circuits. The candidate will work closely with the Design Engineers to provide on-time high quality implementations. Candidate must have a strong understanding of the design requirements, such as device matching techniques, IR drop analysis, ESD requirements and isolation techniques, preferably a B.S. degree in EE.
REQUIREMENTS
• 7+ years minimum layout experience in Mixed-Signal and RF circuit Layout: ADC/DAC layout, High Frequency PLLs, LNAs and Mixers Layout.
• Candidate should be familiar in Cadence Layout XL environment.
