Land Manager, Community & GovernmentCurrently, we seek a Land Manager, Community & Government to manage and optimize the land interests, arrangements and assets of Lafarge’s Aggregate business throughout the Southeast; by implementing land management best and core practices across 215 sites or properties representing $28 million worth of land assets with over 130 land agreements and over $850,000 of real property taxes. Other duties include managing property taxes, government and community affairs and serve roles in land service research, special projects and general support of the Aggregates and Ready-Mix businesses.Qualified candidates will have a Baccalaureate and/or graduate education or work experience equivalent in analytical fields such as business, engineering, landscape architecture, land use, planning, real estate, paralegal or similar related field preferred.Minimum 5 years relevant professional work experience in addition to education in the area of Real estate and/or land / property management. Familiarity with typical government records and planning organizations; methods, processes and requirements is necessary. Experience developing, evaluating, proposing and implementing various functional programs is helpful. Public speaking, basic office PC/technology and internet-based systems, strong priority setting skills and strong oral and written communication/interaction skills is required.Job Requirements
