Land Development Department Manager

Purpose: Position Summary: Our Fort Lauderdale office is searching for a Unit Manager to manage and grow the Land Development group in Fort Lauderdale. The selected candidate will be responsible for the following:
-Creating a business development plan specific to the market segment
-Maintaining and being accountable for the Unit's overall sales objectives and profitability
-Supervising the preparation of proposals by assigned personnel in coordination with the office's marketing staff
-Assisting in QA/QC of all engineering work in the Land Development Unit

Requirements

-BS in Civil Engineering
-PE License, preferably registered in Florida
-Experience with business development and marketing in terms of showing expansion and growth in a particular market (preferably local)
-10-15 years of experience with single-family, multifamily and/or commercial/industrial land development projects
-Proven leader with the ability to mentor junior staff
-Able to demonstrate good communication skills both written and verbal

70K - 110K Year
