Lab Support Engineer

MicroSys (www.microsysllc.com), an integrity-driven information systems engineering company with headquarters in Manassas, VA, is looking for a Lab Support Engineer to support our customer and our dynamic growth. MicroSys is providing overall IT & Systems Engineering support to a highly visible Federal Agency.

As a member of the MicroSys team you'll perform tasks associated with being a Lab Support Engineer for a highly visible federal customer. Involved in numerous projects that include design, configuration, installation, integration, testing, and troubleshooting. Additional duties include:

Ensure compliance with all quality processesInstall and administer the lab's Microsoft server environment and support testing projectsMonitor lab server, network, and desktop hardware and software environments
REQUIREMENTS
MUST BE a US citizen MUST BE clearable to Secret. Current active Secret or better is preferredOperational and Implementation experience i.e., enterprise implementations5+ years of technical experience, with at least the most recent 3+ of those years on large scale infrastructure (Microsoft environment) related projectsExperience installing and managing Microsoft Server hardware and softwareExtensive experience with Microsoft Windows 2000/2003 Server and Active DirectorySharepoint, ISA, and Altiris experience is a plus

Business will be conducted in the Greater DC Metro area, with some activity in Reston, VA
