LEAD WEB APPLICATION ENGINEER

Classification: Full Time Compensation: $60000 to $80000 per year SF Non-profit needs a Web Developer/Architect to be responsible for the organzation's web presence functionality and customer experience. Responsibilities include defining, designing, developing, and supporting web applications to serve internal and external audiences. Also define development standards and mentor less experienced developers to promote staff development and overall team expertise. Additionally, responsible for key development initiatives including projects on identity management, single sign-on, portals and system integration with Oracle and Novell applications.We are looking for someone with:„X Demonstrated expertise solving product configuration, integration, and upgrade issues„X Familiarity with modern agile development methodologies and test-driven, component-oriented iterative development practices.„X Working knowledge of J2EE frameworks (Struts, Hibernate, Spring, servlets, JSPs, custom tag libraries etc.)„X Design and approval of web site and web applications database schemas.„X Proficiency in browser neutral JavaScript, CSS, HTML, and DHTML development.„X IOC/AOP frameworks such as the Spring Framework.„X Designing database tables for Oracle 9i databases, including optimization techniques.„X Hibernate for database persistence.„X Version control, build/deployment processes and tools, and production support.„X Business analysis and web software design.„X Performance monitoring and debugging applications in a Linux environment.With more than 100 locations in North America, Europe, and Australia, Robert Half Technology is a leading provider of IT professionals on a project and full-time basis for IT initiatives ranging from Internet development and multiplatform systems integration to network engineering and technical support.
