The qualified individual should be proficient in LDAP (Lightweight Directory Access Protocol) protocol functions and configuration and have skills in administering and configuring Solaris operating systems, including Shell scripting (bash, ksh), JavaScript and XML. You should also be skilled in administering and configuring the Sun One LDAP Directory server with exposure to Active Directory. Individual should be task oriented, have good working knowledge of the web base systems, and have good troubleshooting and problem resolution skills. Individual needs to be able to demonstrate the ability to systematically isolate problems and develop resolution plans.
Proven experience the following areas:
7-9 years with LDAP
- LDAP Administration and Integration
- LDAP Strategic Development
- Technical support of LDAP Server environments such as Sun ONE, AD, Novell
- Maintenance of high availability LDAP infrastructure software interface components
- Design, develop, test and deploy modifications to LDAP scripts for servers
TECHNICAL SKILLS:
a. Hands-on experience with SunOne Directory Server 5.2 in a large-scale mission-critical environment. Exposure to using MMR (Multi Master Replication) and integration with WebLogic, Websphere and Siteminder.
c. Proficient in LDAP protocol functions and configurations.
d. Strong ability to troubleshoot and resolve directory server and application access problems
e. Strong experience developing with Perl, mod_perl, perl-LDAP and perl-DBI applications.
f. Hands-on knowledge of Java, JavaScript’s, JSP, JDBC, XML, HTTPS, SSL.
g. Experience in Microsoft’s Active Directory is a plus
h. Good understanding of a Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC)
