We employ engineers who are certified by the laser manufacturer and who accompany our Roll-On-Roll-Off (Ro-Ro) lasers. This group of highly trained professionals is respected and consulted by other vision care professionals in the country and backed by our world-renowned Clinical Advisory Group. A great deal of effort is placed in ensuring that all of our clinical staff is kept current on the latest developments in laser refractive surgery.

You will install/de-installation a transportable laser and related equipment at customer sites; calibrate and program equipment for surgeon approval prior to surgery being performed; provide routine preventative maintenance and repairs on the excimer laser systems to maximize usage and minimize downtime; and troubleshoot, remove and replace components of the excimer laser and calibrate to vendor specifications. You will also be responsible for maintaining all company assets in good working order and adherence to company standard operating procedures that meet/exceed standard of care including sterile techniques. This position also requires adherence to DOT regulations and driving a commercial truck containing a refractive laser and other related equipment to customer sites.

Qualifications include
~Degree in Laser Electro-optics, Biomedical electronics, electronics or military training equivalent.
~ Proven ability to successfully troubleshoot and repair laser systems.
~ Proficiency with basic electronics and associated test equipment.
~ Must be at least 21 years of age.
~ Ability to meet D.O.T medical and drug testing requirements.
~ Ability to pass company administered road test.
~ A safe previous driving record.
~ A good previous work record.
