KHALIX Applicaiton Lead Developer

Classification: Full Time Compensation: $60,000 to $70,000 per year Robert Half Technology is recruiting a KHALIX Financial Application Dev /Lead for an Orlando based leader in the Manufacturing and Distribution industry. Successful candidate will develop, implement and maintain financial consolidation and reporting systems and provide state-of-the-art tools and techniques to achieve user objectives and requirements for company CFOs and Controllers. Perform and/or lead the design, coding, testing and implementation of programs as part of systems development or enhancements to production systems. The organization architect is a combination of SAP, KHALIX, and VB/C++ technologies. Lead aspects of new system development; includes feasibility studies, requirements definitions, general and detailed designs through development of programs and implementation. Evaluate user requirements and existing manual systems to determine feasibility of developing computer based replacement systems. Lead the design of information systems including data bases, information flow, file structures, user and systems procedures, and documentation. Participate in development of cost vs. benefit analyses for assigned projects. Review systems for cost effectiveness, compliance to standards and flexibility to meet future needs. Interface with user departments to avoid duplication of effort, to coordinate the exchange of data, to learn new procedures and to stay informed of business decisions and future plans. Provide production system support through problem analysis and resolution. Involves support during and outside of normal business hours (i.e., weekends and after hours when necessary). Provide assistance to co-workers with their assigned tasks. Assist users in problem determination. Ensure timely resolution to systems issues. Adhere to data processing standards and develop additional standards as new technologies emerge. Understand the impact of a system's design on other business systems. Conduct hardware and software evaluations.
