Jr. Product Engineer

ATTENTION ENGINEER STUDENTS: Manufacturing company located in NW Houston iscurrently seeking a Jr. Product Engineer to work in conjunction with a Sr. MentorProduct Engineer. Responsibilities include:

Primary engineering liason for the valve & manifold product line.

Responsible for drawings and bills of materials for new and existing products, productfailure analysis, consolidation and cost improvement.

Responsible for technical support for manufacturing, quality and sales

Incorporate engineering improvements in existing productsJob Requirements
You will have 2-3 years of study completed towrds a mechanical engineering degreefrom an accredited university.Must be - Self motivated, proactive individual capable of providing quality product lineresults. Also, capable of taking on product/project engineering responsibilities
AutoCAD or Solidworks experience a plus
Will become familiar with ANSI, ASME, ASTM and API specifications
Working knowledge of MS Word and Excel
Superior written and oral communication skills
ISO Procedures
