Jr Level Mechanical Engineers

Purpose: Our client, on of the largest manufacturers and distributors of rechargeable batteries for cell phones and laptops, is looking to fill 2 Mechanical Engineering positions for their engineering department.

Responsibilities:
-Support customers and engineers in the development of OEM battery packs for Customer?s Notebook computers, servers and PDA's.
-Attend weekly engineering meetings with customer engineers, project management and procurement.
-Participate in conference calls between customers and engineers usually in the evening hours.
-Prepare required reports (monthly reports, call reports, project tracking sheets, engineering reports, etc.)
-Manage and coordinate the flow of activities for the purpose of developing projects and meeting Customer schedules and requirements.
-Communicate effectively with the engineering and sales departments.

Skill Requirements:
-Experience with design of plastic injection molded parts
-Pro-E or equivalent 3D CAD experience
-Minimum of 3-5 years work experience, preferably in the electronics component design industry.
-A BS in Mechanical Engineering is highly preferred
-Experience with Microsoft PM would be a plus
-Bilingual in Japanese or Spanish would also be a plus
