Job Captain - Production and Design

Purpose: Production & Design - Job Captain Position

COMPANY
A leader in the field of design, fabrication and construction of innovative retail spaces for over 35 years, has immediate opportunities, due to steady growth, for a highly skilled Production & Design Job Captain who can immediately contribute their talents to meet the needs of the company's clients. They are now seeking a Production & Design Job Captain with at least 4 years working CAD experience, strong communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills.

SKILLS
Job Captain responsibilities will include the following:
-Supervision of employees and carrying out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the company's policies and applicable laws.
-Overview/Supervising of department projects.
-Train employees, plan, assign, and direct work flow.
-Plan checking.
-Change orders maintained weekly. Estimating projects as required.
-Interface with clients, consultants, General Contractors and in-house personnel.
-Coordinate outside services for surveys and additional manpower.
-Supervise and maintain CAD and office standards.
-Special projects as required.
-Ability to create full set interior contract drawings.
-Knowledge of industry standards and procedures of retail/commercial sites.
-Generate weekly status reports.

$55,000-$70,000 Year
