Java Software Engineer

Compensation: $85K- $100K

Business / Application Environment: This is an application that facilitates communication between the Company and our clients

Job Description: As a Software Engineer, you will be responsible for coding, testing, documenting and implementing web-based applications

Role & Responsibilities:
* Work with the design team to develop coding specs.
* Code middle-tier components in Core Java on the J2EE platform
* Participate in the Agile development process
* Interface with Offshore teams
* Provide post implementation support
REQUIREMENTS
Minimum Job Requirements / Skills:
* BS in Computer Science
* 3-5 years experience coding in Core Java on a J2EE platform
* Experience with Spring, Hibernate and Web Services
* Experience with the RAD methodology

Optional Skills:
* UNIX Scripting
* Perl / Python
* SQL
* C# / .NET

Soft Skills:
* Strong work ethic
* Ability to work under pressure to meet tight timelines
* Experience working in small teams
* Ability to work independently and with minimal supervision
* Excellent written and spoken communication skills
