Java Integration Software Engineer
Seeking Java / SQL Integration Software Engineer for outstanding full-time employment opportunity.

Description:
The Integration team is seeking a senior level developer to assist in designing and implementing new registration and integration projects in addition to maintaining current systems.
This individual will be responsible for refining requirements, producing well thought out design specifications, implementing code in an efficient manner, debugging sometime complex and involved problems (on development and production systems), thinking outside the box, and quickly thinking on their feet. The position will require working in a fast pace highly challenging environment where hard work is appreciated and rewarded.
REQUIREMENTS
Excellent analytical skills with the ability to define and resolve problems. Strong understanding of software architectures, software lifecycle methodology, and system development. Able to communicate effectively with technical and non-technical audiences. Needs to have a good understanding and experience of server and client side architectures and systems design. Must have an understanding of current industry trends and their benefit and/or cost to our existing processes. Must be a self-starter with the ability to work independently and in a team environment.
Experience: Java, XML, XSLT, SQL, JavaScript, HTML, C/C++, J2EE technologies, unix shell scripts, perl, database technologies (i.e. Oracle), and object oriented design concepts
Platform : Primarily Unix (Solaris preferred) for server development with some Microsoft and Apple operating systems for web/client development
Requirements/Education:
4+ years of practical industry experience
Other Considerations or Preferences:
Although our primary development is done in Java, having a strong C++ or other object oriented languages background would be a big plus.
