We are currently seeking an experienced J2EE Web Services Developer to join our Orlando, FL office.
Job Description:
We are looking for a self starter who can work well within a team and is able to handle the pressure that comes with working on projects with very short lead times.
Provide frequent status updates of pending work (weekly and perhaps daily as required).
Read and understand sparse requirements to convert them into working Web Services, and be able to change directions quickly when required to do so.
REQUIREMENTS
Requirements & Qualifications:
Bachelors Degree in a related field and/or equivalent experience.
1-2 years experience in developing multi-tiered applications under J2EE, with particular experience in Java Web Services development required.
Experience in developing rich clients with swing components, web clients/services, and custom client applications within J2EE are beneficial.
Experience in porting J2EE applications to multiple vendor platforms (databases, application servers, etc) is a plus.
Background in developing airport applications in this environment a big plus.
Development on multiple OS, including 2000/XP, Linux and Solaris a plus (portability of applications between these OS is required).
Exposure to many or most of the following technologies required: Web containers, EJB containers, XML services, JAAS, JTA, JNDI, JMS, servlets, JSP, Java Server Faces, Swing, JavaMail, JAXP/DOM/SAX, JAX-RPC, SAAJ, JAXR and JDBC.
Experience with the following development systems is beneficial: Caliber, NetBeans, Eclipse, JUnit, Oracle Application Server, Oracle Advanced Queuing, SQLServer, MySQL, Postgres, JBoss, BEA WebLogic.
