Siemens Maintenance Services, LLC(SMS) will provide the ongoing service and technical support to this equipment.Siemens is an Equal Opportunity Employer encouraging diversity in the workplace.Job Description: Primary Responsibilities: Develop process and procedures for monitoring the issuance of materials and equipment on government contracts; ensuring proper classification of government property; and adequately storing government property. Manage the physical inventory of government property, perform internal monitoring to identify excess property; monitor preventative maintenance, and perform utilization and screening functions. Management and operation of Government Property Control System including maintaining and updating the property control policies and procedures to ensure compliance with government regulations. Maintain property records and databases, physical inventory, tagging, preventive maintenance, usage and preparation of various reports, forms, and metrics. Track issuance of materials from the stockroom and interface with organizations to provide support for the property processes. Monitor contracts as they approach completion and work closely with Program Managers concerning disposition of surplus materials and residual equipment.Assure that all employees are properly trained in procedures for care and maintenance of government property. Skills/Experience


5-plus years experience in government property administration

Complete understanding of the requirements of FAR 45 and DoD 4161.2-M

Able to communicate recommendations effectively and train company personnel in the procedures for acquiring and maintaining government property

Experience with Government Property Control System audits required

Excellent communication skills

Certification in Inventory and/or Government Property required

Education

Qualified candidate will have a four year degree in Business, Finance or related discipline or equivalent experience

Background check required
