Intermediate Structural Engineer

Purpose: Structural Engineer with 2 - 5 years experience (E.I.T. preferred).
Requires a BS in Civil or Structural Engineering.
Conceptual design of structural systems (commercial/institutional buildings).
Concrete and steel design work.
Calculation of loading requirements using ASCE-7 and applicable building codes.
Analysis of gravity and lateral systems.
Design of structural systems and components.
Preparation of specifications.
Supervision of and assistance with the preparation of structural drawings.
Review of shop drawings.
Construction site visits.

Must have excellent verbal/written communication skills and computer skills.
Knowledge of AutoCAD, STAAD, and RAMSTEEL are a huge plus!
