Build your career with us!Intel Engineer IIIThe Intel Engineer III is a subject matter expert for implementation, maintenance, and support of new and existing Intel workstation and server infrastructures in a 24x7x365 Data Center Environment at Corporate and Remote Locations. This includes daily operations and support, system tuning, automation, backup, troubleshooting, monitoring, and documentation of designated systems along with Disaster Recovery planning for business continuity. Candidate should have the ability to coach and mentor other team members and assist with the development of their skills and knowledge. Must be able to lead projects and team efforts to manage the deployment of new server and workstation hardware, software and technologies to ensure resources are available for the Business users.This position requires the ability to troubleshoot complex problems, automate tasks to ensure repeatability, and communicate problems and solutions utilizing superior verbal and written skills. Will need to be flexible and have the ability to work in a dynamic, mission critical and time sensitive environment. Ability to follow standard operating procedures, plan effectively to complete tasks on schedule, and clearly document results will be key assessment values. Tasks will be varied and range from directing hardware movement and assembly, establishing performance monitoring parameters, gauging hardware growth projections, establishing metrics for performance, and installing software to troubleshooting complex system and network issues. Little to no supervision.
REQUIREMENTS
1.Previous 8+ years on multiple hardware platforms and operating systems, NT 4.0/2000/2003 required, citrix and terminal Server experience preferred.
2.Understanding of relational database structures and concepts.
3.SME on Windows Server & Workstation, Active Directory, LAN/WAN technologies and protocols.
4.Degree in Electronics, Computer Science, or equivalent work experience is required.
5.Must have excellent communication and interpersonal skills to interact with a wide variety of internal and external personnel with emphasis on follow-through and reporting.
6.Ability to perform multiple tasks, and adjust priorities based on workload with minimum supervision.
7.Lead an engineering team responsible for technical projects.
8.Provide management with timely, informative status reports.
9.Possess excellent analytical and decision making skills. Demonstrate exceptional verbal and written communication skills. Mentor junior team members.
10.Required Can-Do attitude.
11.Flexible working hours, required to participate in an on-call rotation (includes evening, weekends, and occasional holidays).
12.Be able to share your experience in High Availability Technologies such as Clustering and Load balancing of Windows application, Internet, Intranet servers with junior engineers.
13.Must have excellent organization and technical documentation skills.
14.A person in this position should have the ability to communicate effectively project plans and status of projects.
15.Able to work extended periods of time at a terminal or PC using a keyboard and mouse.Preferred Qualifications:
1.MCSE or equivalent experience.
2.Experience with Enterprise Messaging and enterprise content management would be a plus.
