Instrumentation and Controls Engineer

Purpose: Position Summary; Experienced I&C engineer for work on an IGCC generation facility. The successful candidate will participate in the development, review and approval of base design documents, the development of relevant procedures, and the analysis of calculations, technical reports and other documents. The successful candidate will be responsible for the effective planning, organization, direction and coordination of all assigned work activities in a safe, efficient and economical manner with minimal supervision. Performs or ensures all work activities are performed in accordance with the policies, practices, standards and rules of the company. This position will be required to develop an excellent working relationship with internal personnel including engineering, management as well as with external contractors.

Education and Experience Requirements:
The successful candidate must have 5 years minimum relative experience and have a BSEE, BSME, or BMChE degree Candidate must have DCS experience with ABB Automation Symphony, Emerson Ovation, or Foxboro I/A DCS systems. Experience with GE Mark V system is a plus.

Preferred Experience and Education:
