Information Warehouse Analyst/Developer

Primary Purpose:
The qualified candidates responsibilities include working on Business Objects and Crystal implementations including upgrades and migration to the Business Objects XIr2 platform. Other responsibilities include working with users to define analytical business requirements and develop reports, provide support (problem resolution and training), ensure accuracy and quality of data. May also work on ETL (extract, translate and load) life cycle (requirements, development, testing).
REQUIREMENTS
•Work with business owners to define requirements for analytical reporting.
•Troubleshoot issues from business owners as necessary to support problem resolution while maintaining security and consistency of system.
•Utilize Business Objects and Crystal tools to design and develop reports for business users. May include writing specifications for a report developer and working collaboratively to complete projects.
•Provide support to business users and other IT teams using reporting tools.
•Oversee the Business Objects tool set to ensure consistency across the organization.
•Translate business requirements into ETL specifications.
•May also include ETL development (DataStage), providing training and work on other tasks as required by the IW Team.
•May supervisor report development to ensure that data is used appropriately and requirements are met.

Specialized Knowledge/Skills:
•General experience working in an IT organization and experience in a Data Warehouse organization.
•Experience with Business Objects and/or Crystal Reports.
•Excellent communication skills.
•Familiar with IBM mainframe, UNIX, Oracle, DB2, SQL, Erwin.
•Ability to work as part of the IW Team and on multiple project teams.
•Experience created stored procedures a plus.
•Excellent problem solving and analytical skills.

Education/Training
•BA/BS in related field such as Computer Science or Business.
•Minimum of 3-5 years of related experience.
•Specialized training in Business Objects and or Crystal Reports.
•Specialized training or relevant experience in Business Intelligence concepts.
