As an Information Systems Engineer at MITRE you will:


· Support existing sponsor requirements on IT enterprise system tasks.


· Work closely with the government sponsor to assist in technical and program management activities.


· Perform definition of business processes, requirements engineering and systems analyses for information management systems and knowledge management for intelligence processes.

· Act independently at customer sites, identify appropriate tasks, and set priorities.


· Local travel to sponsor sites will be required at timesJob Requirements


Education/Experience

· Bachelor’s or advanced degree in computer science or appropriate technology-related discipline.


· Minimum 12 years experience in current technologies.


Skills


· Experience in one or more of the following is required: federal enterprise architecture; service oriented architectures, data warehouse, web services technologies, systems architectures, and IT strategies.

· Experience required in one or more of the following: software or systems engineering; development lifecycle, information systems and enterprise architecture standards; business processes; requirements engineering, workflow technologies.

· Demonstrated ability to perform systems analyses or support for intelligence processes.

· Ability to prioritize and work on multiple technical tasks for separate sponsors and projects.


· Experience or knowledge of data warehouse, data mining and web services technologies, architectures and IT strategies is desired.
