Information System Security Engineer, Senior

Key Role:Lead or serve as a key contributor to security engineering activities on a variety of assignments. Lead activities, including the development of security requirements documentation and technology and the development of concepts for the application of security technologies across large enterprises, and perform solution trade studies. Lead teams in the analysis of security concerns across the system development life cycle, from the development of various architectural views of systems and solutions to working as a liaison between C&A staff and the engineering staff to ensure that the necessary information and documentation is developed to support the successful accreditation of systems and solutions. Brief and interact with senior client management and technical staff on high-level technical aspects of assignments.



Job Requirements













Basic Qualifications:


-5+ years of experience with systems engineering


-5+ years of experience with IA


-Knowledge of the C&A process


 


Additional Qualifications:


-Knowledge of appropriate policies, procedures, directives and frameworks, including DCID 6/3, DoDAF, and FEA and how they effect a security solution


-BA or BS degree in Engineering, CS, IT, or a related field preferred; MA or MS degree a plus


-CISSP or a related Certification preferred


-Experience with DoD architecture


-Knowledge of DoD directives and JCIDS process and documentation


-Knowledge of network security and protocols


-Knowledge of VPNs, ECUs, and Type 1 crypto


-Knowledge of commercial security products, including guards and firewalls, and requirements tools, including DOORS, Rational Rose, and Requisite Pro


 
Clearance:
Applicants selected will be subject to a security investigation and may need to meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information; TS/SCI clearance is required.
