Under minimal supervision, this position will evaluate new product design for manufacturability, select manufacturing processes and materials, design tools and equipment, and supply production engineering techniques, procedures and criteria to industrialize new electronic and electro-mechanical products. Has significant experience with the latest technologies in electronic board manufacturing and all associated processes/materials, electronic packaging and design. Ideal candidate would have consumer electronics experience in a low cost high volume business atmosphere. Domestic and international travel may be required.Some of the key responsibilities include:Develop the manufacturing plan for new product considering of such elements as the forecasted volume, manufacturing process, test plan, tooling and capital equipment, new parts and project schedule.Design, analyze and implement new manufacturing and assembly processes.Ensure that product assembly tools, equipment, and manufacturing documentation are completed, tested, approved and verified per requirements.Support Production in multiple facilities as needed.Assists in coordinating the industrialization of new products procured from outside suppliers. This would include brand labeling activity and strategic partner co-development.Work close with design engineers to insure design for manufacturability (DFM) concepts are incorporated into designs at inception. Supervise personnel at the engineer and technician level.

EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS:
B.S. in Electrical Engineering or equivalent experience.EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:
