Industrial/Mechanical Engineer PM

The Industrial Engineer/Mechanical/Medical will perform duties as assigned to the candidate by the Director of Engineering or Designee in support of all aspects of the Engineering Department, including but not limited to Project management of engineering projects, product development, ongoing production, quality assurance and regulatory affairs. Requirements:

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following: Project Management Vendor Management Project Timelines Statistical analysis if engineering data Test method development. Authoring Engineering Specifications Perform product qualifications, validations, and clinical study support Perform risk management activities Liaisons between Engineering and Sales/ Marketing Group. Participate in tooling and process validations. General Engineering support. Outside resource development. Asset identification. Creation of engineering documents to support engineering activities.SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES: Outside contractors and suppliers.QUALIFICATIONS: To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Minimum 3 years medical device experience, 1-3 years project engineering experience.EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE: Bachelor’s degree (BA/BS) preferred, from four-year college or university plus three or more years related experience and/or training that includes working in the medical products (e.g., medical devices, pharmaceuticals) or equivalent combination of education and experience.LANGUAGE SKILLS: Ability to respond to inquiries or complaints from current and potential vendors. Ability to effectively prepare and present information to sales people, customers, top management, and/or boards of directors. Working knowledge of English both verbal and written.MATHEMATICAL SKILLS: Ability to perform basic calculations and read instrumentation.REASONING ABILITY: Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions. Ability to interpret an extensive variety of instructions in mathematical or diagram form and deal with several abstract and concrete variables. Good analytical and cognitive skills. Some travel required.
