Industrial Hygiene Technician (4047)

Candidate will be part of large team of IH professionals providing support to DOE and DOD customers. Will complete IH survey forms and help draft reports. Will calibrate and maintain IH equipment; will manage samples and conduct QA of IH data. Will conduct industrial hygiene air sampling, noise and ventilation surveys, respirator fit testing, ergonomic assessments, etc.Requires an Associates degree and 5 years of related experience. Execute Industrial hygiene surveys and assessments; Collect and analyze IH data; complete sampling documentation; must have attention for detail; determine compliance with OSHA and other regulations; Implement IH procedures.Implement quality management procedures; computer literate in Microsoft OfficeDesired Skills: USAF Bioenvironmental training; DOE lab experience.
Active DOE or DOD security clearance; experience may be substituted for degreeEnvironmental Hazards: must be able to work with hazardous materialsPhysical Requirements: must be capable of lifting 40 lbs and able to wear a respirator 87106
