Industrial Engineer II

TECHNICAL Responsibilities:

Process Definition and Improvement. Define process and work flows using process maps and flow diagrams. Analyze and quantify workflows, recognize business and operational opportunities, and recommend improvements with supporting economic analysis.

Statistical / Cost Analysis. Ability to gather data, conducts quantitative analysis, and produce cost-benefit analysis.

Modeling and Technical Analysis. Create, apply or evaluate models based on discrete event simulation, queuing, or decision theory techniques. Analyze data relationships using hypothesis tests, analysis of variance, and regression analysis techniques.

Quality Engineering. Measure, analyze, and report process performance.

PC Tools. Proficiency with PC / Windows applications including Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, flow-charting software, and office automation environments. Database programming in Microsoft Access or using SQL. Knowledge of Excel statistical tools, or MINITAB a plus.LEADERSHIP Competencies:

Ability to understand customers' requirements and rapidly adapt to fast-changing environments.Job RequirementsEducation and Experience:
Undergraduate degree in Industrial Engineering, Process Engineering, Management Science or similar degree required. MSIE or MBA desirable. Typical coursework in Engineering Economic Analysis, Operations Research / Management Sciences, and Quality and Applied Statistics.
Work experience in industrial engineering, consulting or similar field would be preferable. Experience in manufacturing operations is a plus.
