IT Helpdesk Technician

Main Objective:
General maintenance of local area networks, end user support, and systems maintenance to include workstations, servers, and peripherals.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
User assistance and support
Windows XP
Perform configurations, installations, reconfigurations, upgrades and reallocations of workstations and laptops
Network and network printer support
Analyze and recommend new products, upgrades and services for network or streamlining of procedures
Systems integration and interface support
PDA configuration and support
Basic Server Hardware/Software maintenance to include trouble shooting, upgrades and support
Inventory and asset tagging of computer equipment and peripherals
Misc. projects as assigned

REQUIREMENTS
Education and Experience:
2+ years college required or equivalent experience. Bachelor Degree in Computer Science preferred.
Prefer completion A+, or Network+ courses and courses towards MCSE.
3-5 years experience in user support of computer systems and software
Knowledge and Skill Requirements:
Knowledge of systems hardware, software to include Windows and MSOffice.
Fluency in English and Spanish required.
User training experience and skills preferred.

Machine, Tools and/or Equipment Skills:
Servers, Printers, Networking Cards and Cables, Desktop Computers, Laptops, peripherals, copiers, and faxes.
