INFOSEC Lead

Thales Communications, Inc. currently has an opening available for an INFOSEC Lead at our Clarksburg, MD headquarters. The qualified applicant will provide technical INFOSEC leadership and analysis skills to a development team for a Type 1 embedded encryption radio.Responsibilities:
In this role, you will be responsible for INFOSEC leadership and analysis skills to a development team for a Type 1 embedded encryption radio.
REQUIREMENTS
To be considered for this exciting and challenging opportunity you must have:U.S. Citizenship. Applicants selected will be subject to a government security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information.
BSEE (MSEE preferred).
Experienced with the application of the UIC to the handheld radio domain.
CME and/or experience with the NSA embedment process preferable
Familiar with the operation, use, and waveform details of legacy U.S. military voice and data communications equipment.
Experience with the Advanced Infosec Module (AIM) is a plus.
Security Software Design/Development experience.
Understanding of network security.
Working knowledge of Multilevel Secure Operating Systems and their associated concepts a real plus.
Must understand the Common Criteria, EAL Levels, Protection Profiles, Security Targets, Trust Anchors and Reference Monitors
Experience or knowledge with FIPS 140-2 would be desirable.
Familiar with common PC engineering software beneficial, e.g., OrCAD, Rational Tools.
