REQUIREMENTS
Job Description:
The Director of Information Systems for the Caritas Laboratories works collaboratively with laboratory directors and site managers to develop and manage information systems. You will play an integral part of laboratory leadership team comprised of directors responsible for oversight of the six Caritas hospital laboratories and your supervisory responsibility will encompass 4-6 direct reports including LIS System analysts and the Billing Manager.

Some projects include (but are not limited to); - Support for outreach program - System interfaces with customers and vendors - Assessment of IT needs for nursing homes, physician practices, etc - Report Management development for lab statistics - New system development for vendor interfaces - Systems that help form a fully integrated LIS infrastructure across the Caritas Christi system.

Qualifications:
-Bachelors Degree or equivalent in Medical Laboratory Science, or Computer sciences, MBA is desirable. Five to eight years of laboratory information systems experience preferred, three years of which a Meditech setting would be a big plus.
-At least three years of Laboratory IS management and IS project management experience preferred.
-MT (ASCP) preferred.
