INDUSTRIAL ENGINEER

Chicago area corporation and national leader in innovative office furniture seeks a hands-on Industrial Engineer to support our growth and lean manufacturing initiatives. The qualified applicant will measure manufacturing methods, technology applications and workflow processes in order to establish/ensure the effective and safe use of manpower, machines, materials, and energy.

Qualifications include:

Minimum five years Industrial Engineering experience in the manufacturing environment (knowledge of wood finishing and/or metal fabrication preferred)
Proven track record implementing lean manufacturing projects
Excellent technical problem solving and time management skills
Solid organization, communication, and presentation skills
Bachelors Degree in Industrial Engineering
