I&C Systems Engineer

Business Unit: GE Infrastructure, EnergyFunction: Engineering/ Product DevelopmentResponsibilities: New Economically Simplified BWR (ESBWR) I&C system design activities such as Several NSSS Systems for:
NSSS System Design Specification(s), Logic Diagrams, Hardware/Software Specifications, and IO and Set point Database Input for DCIS implementation.
Interaction with NRC and Utility during the certification and design phases.
Test Requirements & Acceptance Criteria for DCIS.
Other applicable I&C System Design activities through the life cycle of the project.
REQUIREMENTS
Qualifications: - BS degree in Engineering Discipline.
Minimum 4+ years experience in BWR (or PWR) systems design
Systems design experience in design, development, integration, operation and test and evaluation.
Able to coordinate with other system engineers, project managers, and support staff.
Excellent writing and verbal communications skills.
Six Sigma green belt certification (GE Employees Only).Desired: - Experience with BWRs.
MS degree in Engineering Discipline (Controls, electrical, mechanical, or computer science).
Six Sigma Black Belt certification (GE Employees Only).
Distributed Control & Information System experience with Utility Industry.
Quality Assurance experience and training on nuclear plant.General: - Must be able to start immediately upon hire.
