Human Resources Manager - ES Engineering
Business Unit: GE HealthcareFunction: Human ResourcesResponsibilities: As the HR Manager within the Enterprise Solutions unit of IITS, this individual will be responsible for all day-to-day and strategic and tactical Human Resources support for the Engineering and Product Strategy client groups (approx 400 people) across the headquarters and global locations. Provide HR guidance and coaching to managers on matters such as organizational design and development, recruiting, succession planning, employee relations practices, development, compensation planning, employee communications and performance management.
Facilitate the alignment and integration of GE processes and culture into newly acquired and reorganized business.
Drive Session C and Compensation Planning cycles for client groups (will include presentation to ES leadership).
Lead employee engagement initiatives and manage results of GE Opinion Survey and Anniversary Surveys for client groups.
Serve as an employee advocate, balancing fair labor standards, GE policy and practice and business needs.
Manage and coordinate employee relations and performance management issues.
Provide staffing support including interviewing, counseling managers and negotiating offers within client groups.
Lead recruitment, retention and development to ensure necessary competencies are acquired, developed and deployed in line with evolving business needs.
Develop and implement consistent performance management and reward practices to drive appropriate performance differentiation and contribution.
Develop, promote and ensure compliance with agreed HR policies and practice in line with principles of GE controllership.
Support managers in fostering an organizational culture that values diversity in people, cultures and ideas.
Manage employee data and track metrics for HR dashboard (turnover, diversity, retention, staffing cycle time, etc.)~HJ~
REQUIREMENTS
Qualifications: * Bachelor's degree (or High School Diploma/GED and 10 years in Human Resources, of which at least 3 years need to be in a managerial capacity)
Minimum of 5 years progressively responsible HR generalist experience (or HRLP graduate plus at least 2 years related experience)
Knowledge of US employment laws and global practices
Successful track record of improved business performance through use of Human Resource skills
Significant experience with planning and executing strategic change
Ability to translate strategic directives into action plans, synthesize high volume of data input and metrics into meaningful focus areas
Demonstrated mentoring and coaching experience
Experience with preparing and delivering presentations to leadership
Demonstrated skills with MS product suite.
