The primary goal of the Highway Business Class Lead is setting the strategic vision for the highway business class. The highway business class leader will be responsible for determining the market drivers and for building and sustaining Herr's image and expertise to match the market. This person is responsible to promote and lead the development of technical expertise within the highway business class, serve as a resource to offices in identifying staff with the expertise required for specific project needs, and work to implement standards and ensure quality in the production of work. Addition duties include: facilitate work between regions; facilitate the overall marketing and operations process; responsible for developing Focus Groups and Key experts; Assist offices in identifying key resources for project pursuits and production of project work; coordinate staffing/recruiting plans and for key hires in the business class; promote Quality Assurance/Quality Control; serve as technical resource on key pursuits and in the production of key projects; Oversee HDR participation in professional organizations: Mentor/train technical staff.
