Help Desk Analyst

HELP DESK Analyst

AMC is currently seeking a first tier Help Desk Analyst to support 1500+ end users in a dynamic help care IT environment. The position will respond to customer calls and requests for assistance with information systems that include a variety of hospital applications, Microsoft Office products, and PC desktop hardware. Common issues include password resets, setting up new users, and assisting users in properly using their hardware and software. Support will include assessing urgency of issues, determining required actions, making an analysis of user needs, solving problems via the telephone or by remote access to the user's PC, and escalating the problem to the next level as necessary with proper logging and documentation of the issue for followup using the I.S. help desk problem logging system.

Requirements:

*One year IT help desk experience desired
*Experience in supporting a Windows desktop environment
*Knowledge of Microsoft Office 2000 or 2003 products (Word, Excel, Outlook)
*Technical certifications are a plus such as A+, MCP
*Experience using help desk problem tracking software desired
*Superior problem solving skills with customer service, communication and technical abilities
*Excellent communication skills, a positive telephone presence and commitment to customer service are essential
*Must be able to learn quickly and manage multiple priorities
*Must have the ability to maintain a positive and constructive attitude and work effectively in a
dynamic work environment
