people, we are currently seeking a Hardware Technician I, II or Sr. in our
Engineering department.



The responsibilities of this role include:


To provide final qualification of hardware and/or electronic components
by accurately following test procedures, using automated test equipment and
clearly providing verbal and written descriptions of all problems found as
well as provide feedback for improving the test process or procedures. May
also require assembly or rework of circuit boards, troubleshooting,
characterization and solution to failures, testing of mechanical designs
including packaging materials, and other tasks necessary to support the
Hardware Engineering team. For Senior Technician level - may act in a lead
capacity to direct other technicians or assemblers.

job Requirements


Minimum qualifications to be considered are:
For Technician I: One year certificate from College or Technical
School or at least three months related experience and/or training; or
equivalent combination of education and experience.
For Technician II: Associates Degree (A.A.) in Electronic Engineering
Technologies or equivalent from two year College or Technical School; or at
least one year related experience and/or training; or equivalent
combination of education and experience.
For Senior Technician: Bachelors Degree in Electronic Engineering; or
at least two years of studies towards a Bachelors Degree in Electrical
Engineering or Electronic Engineering Technologies with two years related
experience.
Experience testing/troubleshooting software products, hardware and/or
Quality Assurance background a plus.
Must be very detail oriented. Requires proven written and verbal
communication skills.
Must be able to train others in proper testing techniques.
Soldering experience including surface mount components desirable.
