HVAC Sales Engineer

We are recruiting for an experienced Sales Engineer from the HVAC industry. Position is based in Grand Rapids, Michigan with a long established Heating, Air Conditioning & Refrigeration company which has won numerous industry awards. Will report to the President of the company and spend 70% of time on sales/prospecting and 30% on technical design/build/engineering with the support of a great technical crew. Will be selling Design/Build, Service Contracts and Planned Maintenance to Office, Industrial, Restaurant, Healthcare and other facilities. Must have strong relationship sales experience and be used to a competitive sales process. Should be able to work closely with technical teams and additional sales staff.

Company's current business mix is 40% service, 60% installation. Service is 70% HVAC and 30% refrigeration; Installation is 65% Design/Build and 35% replacement/add-on. Representing the following brands: Carrier, York, Trane, Bryant, McQuay, Aaon, Lochinvar, Marley, Uponor, A.O. Smith, HeatLink.

This position requires professional sales, organizational, computer, and relationship building skills. They are looking for a 'super star' who can bring in new business and develop their existing well established client base. The successful Sales Engineer will have the opportunity for management team exposure and the opportunity to be an integral part of the successfully run organization.

REQUIREMENTS
Must have 4 year degree preferably in HVAC field. Minimum of 3 years successful (verifiable) sales experience with an excellent work history.
