HVAC AIR BALANCE TECHNICIAN

Air Solutions is an aggressively growing nationally certified HVAC Air Balancing Company seeking energetic employees. Several positions are open for Balancing of Commercial Heating & Cooling Systems (HVAC) for the greater southwest Ohio area.
Duties include:
Daily field work balancing Air & Water (Hydronic) HVAC systems
Measure and document findings on standard report forms
Ability to troubleshoot & resolve problems on a daily basis
Computer skills a must to be able to learn various controls programs
Analyze and read blueprints for report preparation and balancing of systems
Possess the skills to learn how to use the latest testing equipment.
To be in decent health and comfortable climbing step ladders and extension ladders to evaluate systems.


REQUIREMENTS
Minimum employee requirements:
Possess math skills up to an algebraic level. A minimum of a (2) year Technical degree or extensive HVAC experience required. A (4) year Technical degree works well with this position (i.e. Mechanical Engineering Technician) but not required. Must enjoy hands on work and have a "dig-in" attitude. Candidate must have good oral and written communication.


Compensation & Benefits:
Employment with Air Solutions also provides health care after 30 days of employment, two-weeks vacation for the first year (3 weeks after 5 years of employment), paid holidays, three personal days per calendar year, and retirement investment after the first year of employment. The starting hourly compensation will be determined based upon candidate’s skill level and knowledge of the industry. The employee will be evaluated after 6-months to determine any further compensation at that time and then yearly evaluation will be implemented. The position is an hourly position with 4 or 5 day working week (40 hours) as desired. There is possibility of overtime hours and minimal overnight travel.
