HMI / PLC Programmer

Purpose: ~ LOCAL CANDIDATES PREFERRED. ~ Basic Function: Develop HMI and PLC Programs Education: 4 year technical degree or 10 years equivalent experience

Experience: 5-8 years developing HMI and PLC systems

Skills listed for Staff Integrator AND
Understand and develop ladder and loop diagrams (PLC programming)
Understanding of PID control and tuning (PLC programming)
Configuration of moderately to highly complex process networks (PLC programming)
Program in ladder logic and other IEC 1131-6 languages (PLC programming)
Administration of Windows operating systems and simple to moderately complex networks (HMI programming)
Develop complex HMI scripts (HMI programming)
Ability to develop simple to moderately complex programs in Visual Basic or C/C++ (HMI programming)
Understanding of complex P&I Drawings
Develop a control system architecture from the plans and specifications
Develop control descriptions
Develop control system specifications
Develop creative and effective solutions to project problems
Guide technically a small team (up to 5 others) in project implementation
Demonstrated expertise in two or more PLC and/or HMI product lines
Present technical ideas to customers
Gather and evaluate technical feedback from customers
Break down problems into logical steps so they can be programmed by others
