Group Leader – Electronic Assembly

As a leader in the banking and money handling supply industry, Wheeling, Illinois based Block and Company, Inc is looking for an experienced Group Leader for our Electronic Cash Drawer (ECD) assembly department.

Reporting to the Manager of product assembly operations, this key position is responsible for the operation of all electronic cash drawer assembly lines. The incumbent must be able to use our materials management system (MFG PRO preferred) to locate, and order material, and coordinate requirements with our production coordinator. The incumbent will work with our assembly team members, handling training, troubleshooting, supporting department and company safety practices

This person is responsible for daily efficiency reports, inspection of orders on production lines and finished goods for quality and quantity.

REQUIREMENTS
Incumbent must have 5 years of manufacturing experience. Must be bilingual (English/Spanish). Some Electro-Mechanical Assembly preferred; good computer skills essential. Previous soldering and wiring experience needed. Some college level course work desirable.
