Must be willing to deploy on two 3-month rotational assignments totaling 6-8 month/year to OCONUS locations including SW Asia.Inspects, performs organizational, intermediate and depot level electronic maintenance and modifications on Predator UAV and support equipment. Applies comprehensive technical knowledge to solve complex problems by interpreting manufacturers' manuals or similar documents. Uses common test instruments such as digital multimeters, sign generators, semiconductor testers, and oscilloscopes.Maintain, repair and install various types of electronic equipment and related devices such as electronic transmitting and receiving equipment, micro and mainframe computers, and inductrial measuring, controlling and calibration devices. Apply technical knowledge of electronics principles in determining malfunctions and applies skill in restoring equipment operations. Provide technical guidance to lower level technicians.hjlsi06

REQUIREMENTS
Minimum Requirements: This position requires a 5-week class on UAV Predator maintenance conducted at Grey Butte, CA.WE ARE NOW ACCEPTING APPLICATIONS FOR THE NEXT CLASS TO BE FORMED 9 OCT 2006.Upon class completion this position will be located in Grey Butte, CA, just north of Victorville.High school graduate or equivalent, must have completed military or vocational technical school curriculum. AA degree preferred.Five years experience in aircraft avionics installation, inspection, maintenance, and repair. MUST HAVE RECENT EXPERIENCE TO BE CONSIDERED.Must have knowledge of basic electronics.MUST HAVE A SECURITY CLEARANCE.YOU MUST pass an avionics test prior to being considered for employment.
