Graphics Software Engineer

In this position, you will be developing sample DirectX* applications, whitepapers, and conference presentations that demonstrate advanced or new rendering technologies on innovative new graphics hardware. You will be working directly with the graphics architecture team to identify performance bottlenecks and opportunities for such rendering technologies. You will also be working hands-on with leading game developers to help integrate such rendering technology into world-class game engines
job Requirements
You should possess a Bachelor of Science or Master of Science degree and/or a Ph.D.. Additional qualifications include:
- More than three years of DirectX8/9/10* graphics programming
- More than three years of C++ programming experience in a production software environment
- Experience in the following: SIMD Assembly, physics engine, GP-GPU algorithm, game console programming, graphics driver
- Game industry experience
- Production software experience (shipped either software tools, game engines, Software Developer Kits (SDKs), and others)
- More than two years of HLSL or DXASM programming experience (GLSL experience would also be considered)
- Hands-on implementation experience with a variety of graphics-rendering algorithms
- Familiarity and/or fluency with algorithms such as shadow mapping, stencil shadow volumes, high dynamic range lighting, subdivision surfaces, terrain rendering, bump mapping, parallax mapping, PRT, Ray Tracing, advanced character animation, and others
- Hands-on experience with DirectX and/or IHV graphics SDKs and tools
- A graphics programmer's fluency with Modern GPU architecture
- Excellent people and team skills
- Excellent presentation skills
- Familiarity with modern source control tools such as perforce, subversion, bug tracking tools, and others
